Pretty cool for an avatar, huh?
Try to look for the rest at AvatarHell. I got this site from a friend’s LJ post. What’s your avatar?

Coolness! Look what I’ve got here from bloghopping: Why Linux is better – a great website (with matching icons) that shall enlighten your view of Linux and even show you explicitly the pros and some cons of making the shift.
Check it out!

Do you want to see a howto on deleting a Microsoft desktop shortcut? Check this out!
In Linux, it is very easy to create application shortcuts or links. There’s a graphical mode and there’s a terminal mode too. Removing them is just 1-2 mouse clicks (by removing the icon from the desktop) or just a simple “rm nameOfShortcut.desktop” in the console.
Now tell me which system has the simplest and fastest way of adding and removing desktop shortcuts.

If there is one person you can’t stop thinking about, post this same exact sentence in your journal.

Do you feel that your office is like hell? Then you better read and know the signs that your office is in hell.

I guess, SuperHombre was not that exciting. Well, here’s something I got from my PI 100 class:
Si pudiera ser tu heroe. Si pudiera ser tu dios. Que salvanti a ti mil veces. Puede ser mi salvacion.
Obviously, this is the refrain of the song Heroe (Spanish version) by Enrique Iglesias where its English version is also a Superman soundtrack (Smallville TV series). However, the message in the Spanish version is somewhat different from the English one.
What do you think?

Thanks to this howto, I now have Flash Player 8.5 plugin installed on Firefox via Wine! It's just weird that when I tried to install Macromedia Flash on Internet Explorer via CrossOver, the process seemed to be an unsuccessful one. Anyway, I was surprised too with dotPhoto's enhanced upload feature via some Java applet that makes it easier to transfer pictures by batches but not via the confusing FTP procedure.
Below are some screenshots from UP ACM's Amazengg Tour 2006 dotPhoto show. The complete gallery is at the UP ACM's dotPhoto site.
No, I didn't panic at all when there was a Yahoo outage. The only thing that's weird about it was that I can login to my Yahoo account thru WAP via GPRS but not thru http-based or IM-based protocols. At least, I still have GMail, .Mac, Skype, and Gizmo as my alternate messaging accounts. What's yours?
